Digit's operational environment is abrasive by nature. Cardboard edges. Metal shelving. Concrete floors. Shrink-wrapped pallets. The platform's outer surfaces contact these materials thousands of times per shift. Agility Digit clothing must absorb this contact without tearing, snagging, or degrading across deployment cycles that stretch into months of continuous operation.
We construct Digit garments using a zoned abrasion system. High-contact areas, the forearms, chest front, and outer thighs where packages rest during carries, receive panels cut from aramid-blend textiles rated for industrial abrasion resistance. These zones are bonded directly to the garment's base layer, adding protection without creating raised seams that could catch on warehouse infrastructure. Lower-contact areas use lighter technical fabrics that reduce overall garment weight and improve thermal management. The result is Agility Digit fashion that survives the warehouse while carrying less than half the weight of a conventional industrial uniform.
Digit's 44 degrees of freedom concentrate articulation in the arms and legs, optimized for the reach, grasp, carry, and place cycle that defines package handling. The platform's gait, specifically engineered for human-like walking in constrained spaces, generates predictable stress patterns at the hip and knee joints. Our patterns account for these patterns precisely. Articulation gussets at the inner knee and hip crease use triangulated stretch panels that extend and recover along Digit's exact walking arc, preventing the fabric fatigue that accumulates when stretch is oriented incorrectly relative to joint movement.
